Day 1: Arrival
On arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will be received by one of our tour guides who will transfer you to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you will do a city tour to introduce you to the history and culture of this country of a thousand hills and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. Overnight at your hotel

Day 2: Visiting Nyungwe National Park
Early morning enjoy your breakfast and leave the hotel to western province, on your way visit the Royal Palace Museum and Ethnographic Museum in Southern Province. After lunch you head to Nyungwe National Park, head to the canopy walk before you go to the Hotel . [Approximate driving time: 5 hours]

 Day 3, Chimpanzee trek and transfer to Lake Kivu
In the morning after the breakfast, you will leave your hotel for having the experience in this natural forest known for 13 species of primates, and   importantly for the orchid project an incredible 160 orchid species. This represents 66% of the 242 Rwandan orchid species. After having one of the above activities we will transfer to Karongi along the Kivu Lake; with a fantastic view of the country of a thousand hills.

Day 4: Karongi- Volcanoes
After Breakfast, go for a boat ride and visit different islands in the Kivu lake. After lunch we head to Volcanoes NP ,the home of mountain Gorillas  through the panoramic views of the Lake Kivu shores.

Day 5: Optional Gorilla Trekking or Golden Monkey trekking
After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters together with your packed lunch early enough to be briefed about the code of conduct while with the gorillas or Golden Monkeys. This will be followed by entering the forest for trekking.

Day 6: Rwanda culture experience  and transfer to Kigali ( Optional, Nyamorambo Women Center)
Have an early morning breakfast and then proceed to Ibyiwacu cultural village that gives you a rare chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of their culture and traditions. Later transfer to Kigali
