6 Days/5 Nights – 2 Nights Maasai Mara, 1 Night Lake Naivasha, 2 Nights Amboseli

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional English-speaking driver-guide who will brief you on your safari adventure. Depart Nairobi in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with opportunities to admire spectacular landscapes and traditional Kenyan countryside.

Continue towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving after approximately 4–5 hours. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route before arriving at your lodge or camp for check-in and relaxation.

Later in the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive across the vast savannah plains of the Maasai Mara. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other wildlife species that call this remarkable reserve home.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day In Maasai Mara National Reserve

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to observe wildlife when animals are most active. Witness the African savannah come to life as predators hunt and herbivores graze in the cool morning hours.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time before lunch. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive to explore different areas of the reserve. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its exceptional wildlife density and offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

During the Great Migration season, thousands of wildebeests and zebras traverse the plains, creating one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife events.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and journey towards the beautiful Lake Naivasha in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, farmlands, and local villages along the way.

Arrive at your lodge in Naivasha in time for check-in and lunch. After some relaxation, enjoy an exciting boat excursion on Lake Naivasha. This one-hour boat safari offers excellent opportunities to observe pods of hippos resting in the water and an impressive variety of birdlife including fish eagles, kingfishers, cormorants, and herons.

The tranquil lake setting provides a refreshing contrast to the savannah landscapes of the Maasai Mara.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and drive south towards Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Arrive at your lodge around lunchtime and enjoy a freshly prepared meal while taking in the magnificent surroundings.

In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through Amboseli’s open plains and wetlands. The park is internationally renowned for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. You may also encounter lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day In Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. The park’s unique ecosystem of swamps, grasslands, and acacia woodlands supports a rich diversity of wildlife and offers outstanding photographic opportunities.

Observe elephants at close range as they move across the plains against the stunning backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Search for predators, grazing herbivores, and a variety of bird species while enjoying the beauty and serenity of the African wilderness.

Between game drives, relax at the lodge and enjoy its facilities.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served at the lodge.

Overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park – Mombasa – Diani Beach

After breakfast, check out and depart Amboseli National Park for Emali Railway Station. Board the modern Madaraka Express train for a comfortable and scenic journey to Mombasa. Along the way, enjoy views of Kenya’s diverse landscapes, including sections of Tsavo National Park where wildlife can often be spotted from the train.

Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be met and transferred to your selected beach resort in Diani Beach. Check in and begin your relaxing beach holiday along Kenya’s spectacular Indian Ocean coastline, famous for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and tropical atmosphere.
