Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our safari representative and briefed on your upcoming adventure. Depart Nairobi and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, making a brief stop at a viewpoint to admire the breathtaking escarpment and surrounding landscapes.

Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge in time for check-in and lunch. After a relaxing break, embark on an afternoon game drive in the park, famous for its rhino sanctuary and rich biodiversity. Keep an eye out for black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and a variety of bird species. Depending on the season, flamingos may also be seen along the lake shores.

Return to the lodge in the evening to enjoy dinner and the peaceful surroundings of the park.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and journey towards the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Travel through the picturesque Kenyan countryside and traditional Maasai lands, enjoying views of rolling hills and rural communities along the way.

Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive in the Maasai Mara. The reserve is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and numerous antelope species.

As the sun sets over the vast savannah plains, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Full Day In Maasai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game viewing in one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Explore different regions of the reserve as your experienced guide searches for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

Visit the famous Mara River, home to large populations of hippos and crocodiles. During the Great Migration season, this area becomes the stage for one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife events as thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the river in search of fresh grazing grounds.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 4: Full Day In Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend another exciting day exploring the rich wildlife habitats of the Maasai Mara. The additional day allows for deeper exploration of the reserve and increases your chances of witnessing remarkable wildlife encounters and predator activity.

Search for elusive leopards resting in acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the plains for prey, and large elephant herds roaming freely across the grasslands. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy spotting many of the reserve’s resident and migratory bird species.

A picnic lunch will be served within the reserve, allowing you to maximize your game-viewing experience throughout the day. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation before dinner.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge while taking in the final views of the African wilderness. After check-out, depart Maasai Mara and begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight home, bringing your unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure to a close.
